  • About
Pretzels are salted biscuits twisted into a knot or sticks. The Dutch probably first introduced pretzels into America, and pretzels were made and sold by street vendors. Early pretzel manufacturers were concentrated in Pennsylvania, and pretzels did not emerge as a national snack until the 1960s.
