  • About
Malaysian restaurants featuring a combination of Thai, Indonesian, Chinese, and Asian Indian flavors have appeared in East Coast cities from Boston to Washington, D.C. Approximately 145,000 Cambodian refugees were admitted to the United States after the war in Indochina, most arriving between 1980 and 1985. Some Cambodian restaurants have appeared in enclaves such as Long Beach and Oakland, California; Lowell, Massachusetts; and the Seattle-Tacoma, Washington, area.
