  • About
Tupperware is the registered trademarked name for all products of the Tupperware Brands Corporation. Most famous are the lightweight, odorless, reusable plastic containers with patented airtight lids that epitomize American postwar suburban culture. Tupperware embodies the era of convenience foods and home refrigeration, the age of plastic and industrial production. Perhaps most important, its home-selling plan, the Tupperware party, promulgated the distinctively American form of entertaining at which hostesses sell consumer products.
