  • About
Perhaps my favorite meal in Lisbon was lunch on the river at Topo Belém at the Belém Cultural Center, which has a modern feel. Alternatively, I loved the traditional ambience at Restaurante Bota Alta. If you don’t have time to wait in line for the traditional custard pastries at Pastéis de Belém, try Manteigaria instead. We enjoyed walking around the LXFactory, an outdoor area with great shops and restaurants (eat at A Praça). I loved visiting the shop A Vida Portuguesa, as well as Livraria Bertrand (Chiado location), the oldest bookstore in the world. Be sure to visit the National Tile Museum and eat at their beautiful cafe.
