You will find rice shops offering a variety of long-grain white rice from all over the world, including the United States and Australia: among the favourites are the fragrant long-grain rice of Thailand. The aromatic long-grain Thai rice is now available at many Chinese and Southeast Asian shops. It has a pleasing fragrance similar to Indian basmati rice.
