Please remember that spoonfuls should always be level, never ‘rounded’ or ‘heaped’. A ‘scant’ teaspoon should be levelled off and then a little more scraped away. However if the stock or other liquid for a final sauce seems too little, it is in order to add a dessertspoon or tablespoon more — a lot depends on the amount of evaporation from the heat.
