Spring-Loaded Thumb-Release Scoop

The ice cream is “pushed” out of the scoop by pressing a spring-release lever that is located on the handle and is connected to a mechanism at the center of the scoop. The finished scoops look slightly smoother than those produced by the sweep-blade mechanism scoop.
