Preparing Spring Garlic

Spring garlic is the immature garlic bulb with the greens attached.

Trim off the hairy end of the garlic.

Wash in cold water, removing one or two layers of the outer leaves in order to clean the garlic of all soil.

Slice the bulb and greens.
