Roundfish

Roundfish (pesce tondo) have bodies that appear rounded, with eyes on either side of their heads; they swim vertically. Flatfish have asymmetrical bodies and swim in a horizontal position. Unlike on roundfish, the eyes of flatfish are located at the top of the head.
