Samphire

Samphire - there are two types: rock samphire (also known as sea or true samphire and it’s rarer), and marsh samphire (also called glasswort) - they’re often confused but actually aren’t closely related. Rock samphire grows amongst the rocks and shingle of sea coasts and on cliffs, whilst the latter grows on marshland.
