Oily Fish is a good source of omega 3 fatty acids. Growing research indicates that a deficiency in these essential fatty acids may increase susceptibility to depression and low mood, so it’s well worth trying to eat a bit more ‘fatty’ fish.5 These fatty acids form a large percentage of our brain tissue. Try to eat salmon, mackerel and sardines. Keep tinned varieties handy for speedy, low-effort snacks.
