  • About
These are easily grown and should be used all the year round. During the winter (or in flats without gardens) they can be grown in pots or boxes indoors. It is only the green grass-like leaves that are cut, and the more they are cut off to within about 1 inch of the soil the quicker others spring up; and the bulb-like roots send out offsets. They can be grown by division of the clumps of roots in the spring and autumn, and thrive on a rich soil.
