  • About

Miss Dorothy Hartley says she was told of these by a Yorkshire woman now living in South Africa, who also gave her the above information. Miss Hartley says ‘they were made at Fulford, York, by an old woman who died about 10 years ago. They were round, about 6 inches across, and tasted like a mixture of Bath Oliver and plain water biscuit, but thicker, and they were delicious. The receipt may be lost, but Terry, of York, may have bought it.’
