METHOD: Direct grilling
There are at least three ways you can grill a lobster. You can cook it in a pile of seaweed directly on the coals in the style of a traditional clambake (the lobster cooks in the steam generated when the fire heats the damp seaweed). Or you can cut the lobster in half lengthwise and grill it over the coals—the second technique, which you’ll find starting. The easiest way is simply to grill the whole lobster in its shell.
