Set a covered steamer over gently simmering water and add 1 cup (3 oz/90 g) fresh or frozen organic edamame (soybean) pods to the top part. Steam until the beans inside are tender, about 15 minutes. Drain the pods, then sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Let cool to room temperature and pack in a to-go container.
