  • About

Buying Look for firm fruit with smooth skin free of bruises and blemishes. Buy organic when possible, as conventional apples tend to have high levels of pesticides.

Storing Let ripen at room temperature; apples will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.

Healthy tip Don’t peel that apple! The skin of an apple contains much of its healthful nutrients, including fiber and powerful antioxidants that may fight cancer.

Using Enjoy apples on their own, or slice and add to salads. Tart apples are ideal for making crisps and applesauce.
