  • About

Buying Choose avocados that are heavy and blemish-free. If you plan on eating it right away, choose an avocado that is slightly soft and yields to gentle pressure.

Storing Let ripen at cool room temperature. Once ripe, store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Prep tip Avocado flesh browns quickly, so don’t cut an avocado until just before using. Lemon or lime juice will help prevent discoloration.

Using Slice or chop avocados for salads, sandwiches, wraps, and salsas; mash for dips and spreads.
