  • About
Sticky rice is a type of rice commonly sold as “glutinous rice” (though it has no gluten) or “sticky rice”. As its name implies, after cooking, it really is very sticky. It is rarely served plain. To cook, rinse in several changes of water, then soak for 2 hours in water to cover. Typically, it’s steamed, but you can also make it in a rice cooker or on top of the stove. Follow the package directions.
