Crostini is an Italian term that basically translates to “little toasts.” They are easily made by thinly slicing a baguette, usually at an angle. Brush the baguette slices with olive oil, then arrange on a baking sheet at toast until lightly browned on both sides under a hot broiler or in a hot oven. They can also be toasted on a grill. Bruschetta are similar, but usually are cut a little thicker.
