How to Eat Mussels

Mussels attach themselves to just one shell. The top shell that opens from them is sometimes broken off and the cooked mussels are served on the half shell they are attached to.
With an empty shell cut between the mussel and the shell, then, using the empty shell, ladle some liquid into the shell and drink and eat the mussel.
