  • About
Edible fungi are mushrooms and truffles. Their nutritional value is little, but their flavor value is great. Both grow from underground spores. Mushrooms pop through the ground and are harvested by man. Truffles grow underground and must be searched for and dug out by man and beast. Sows are used in France and dogs in Italy.
