  • About
British with imports from France, Cyprus, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia.
As a nation we tend to eat our peas tinned or frozen. Unless the fresh ones really are fresh, they can be disappointing. Pod, then tip into boiling salted water with a sprig of fresh mint and cook, lid off, for 10-15 minutes (less if really young and fresh). Gardeners get the best flavour.
Frozen and tinned can be jolly nice, but one taste of the real thing and you’ll know what you’ve been missing.
