Literally, tepung jagung, but a common brand name is Maizéna and in Indonesia it is usually called tepung Maizéna. The fine white powder, almost pure starch, made by grinding maize/corn kernels. It is used in making porridge, sweet puddings and cookies. Cornstarch, tepung kanji, is used to starch clothes after washing.
