Ikan Teri

Anchovy or whitebait; Stolephorus heterolobus, etc. Very small ikan teri (also called ikan bilis) are sold in packets in Chinese shops, dried and salted. If their heads are still on, it is better to remove these before cooking, but they can also be bought without heads.
