Salam Leaf

Eugenia polyantha, daun salam. Not a ‘curry leaf’ and not a kaffir lime leaf or DAUN JERUK PURUT, but an aromatic leaf that, like them, can be replaced by a bay leaf if necessary. Dried salam leaves are sold in some Asian shops in London and elsewhere.
