Jambu Batu

Psidium guajava (‘stone jambu’; also jambu klutuk, etcetera). This is the guava, though not all jambu batu are as pink inside as the guavas I have seen imported into England; many are greenish-white. Like many people, I prefer the fruit when it is not quite ripe and is still crisp, like an apple.
