  • About
is a greenish-yellow fruit, a little larger than jeruk nipis, and is more or less what anyone would recognize as a lemon. But it has less flavour than a lemon, and where lemons are mentioned in the recipes in this book you can assume that we would use jeruk nipis in Indonesia. It follows that you can use lime instead of lemon if you wish; but if you do, remember that limes are a good deal more acid.
