Pisang Ambon

Big, daffodil-yellow fruit, more or less identical to the Gros Michel that Europe imports from the West Indies, and therefore the usual choice of Europeans who have just arrived in the East. In fact, pisang ambon are by no means the most highly regarded dessert banana.
