This is an Asian variety of cabbage. It is elongated and has pale leaves and wide stems. The leaves and stems are softer than other types of cabbage, and usually taste fresh and sweet. It is often used in gyoza dumplings, soups, stews, stir-fry dishes and as a main component in hotpots.
