  • About
This kitchen device is great for slicing onions, potatoes, cucumbers, and cabbage very thin with little effort. There are expensive mandolines on the market, but you can find inexpensive everyday slicers in well-stocked kitchenware stores. I often use the ceramic blade slicer made by Kyocera, especially when using a knife would be too tedious and the job is too small for my food processor. As with any slicer, be very careful to keep your fingers clear of the blade.
