  • About
Immediately following Sukkot come the festivals of Shemini Azeret and Simchat Torah; when the weekly readings in the Torah are completed (with the end of Deuteronomy) and then commenced again (with the beginning of Genesis). In Israel and in Reform Congregations in the Diaspora Simchat Torah and Shemini Azeret are celebrated on the same day.
