Wash and peel the fruit. Discard the pits. Cut into chunks and toss into the cold water, to which you have added 1 tablespoon/15 ml lemon juice. The alcohol of choice is a delicate grappa. Use an egg beater or a wooden spoon to crush the fruit, depending on whether the fruit is firm or slightly mushy.
