Cutting Pineapple in Rings

Pineapple rings are particularly suitable for flambéing and as a salad garnish. First peel the pineapple, as shown above.
  1. With a long, thin-bladed knife, cut the peeled pineapple into even slices.

  2. Core each slice with a small cookie cutter, pressing down hard and lifting out the center.
