  • About
A halved avocado may be peeled and sliced to serve in a salad, or as garnish. Use a stainless steel knife as avocado tends to discolor.
  1. To peel the avocado, strip off the skin with your fingers; if it is ripe it will peel easily.

  2. With a stainless steel knife, evenly slice the peeled avocado crosswise. Fan out the slices on a serving plate and immediately sprinkle them with lemon juice to prevent browning.
