  • About

Sweetened condensed milk, now sold in cans in grocery stores all over the world, can often be substituted for the Indian sweet cream called khoa. Evaporated milk, another product designed for long keeping, has been heat treated and is much less sweet and less thick than condensed milk. Milk powder, including buttermilk powder, which can be reconstituted by the addition of water, is usually low in fat.
