Bavaroise, s. Originally a kind of hot drink made with tea, coffee, &c., or milk sweetened with capillaire. Also a very rich kind of variously flavoured cream shapes. The name usually given to cream or โ€˜crรจme,โ€™ its real equivalent being in France always applied to custard.
