  • About
Whether you choose rosé from France, Portugal or the New World you can be sure that you are serving a wine that will cater to many foods. It is a good choice to serve as an apéritif with canapés or at picnics - occasions where a variety of flavours is the standard. Serve rosé wines well chilled at summer picnics, to soothe the palate and cool you down.
The range of textures and flavours in Greek meze - hummus, taramasalata and tsatziki - can be tied together wonderfully with a lively rosé.
Rosés also are perfect with salads, such as a Niçoise - tuna with hard-boiled eggs, blanched green beans, black olives, anchovies and a balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing. The mixture of flavours works with the rosé - the wine leaves the palate clean as its acidity is balanced out by the fruit.
