I usually recommend using fresh fruit as often as possible, but in some cases, frozen products are more reliable. Passion-fruit purée is one example. This concentrated juice of the passion fruit is increasingly available in a pouch or a bottle. Do not try to substitute bottled passion-fruit juice or nectar, which is diluted for use as a beverage and has much less flavor.
