We toast all the nuts and seeds in our salads, potato rosti and slices: it brings out the natural oils and increases the flavours. Spread them on a baking sheet and toast for six minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C (160°C fan). You can also flash them in a dry pan over a medium heat for a few minutes; you don’t want to brown them.
