Red Edge Brittlestem Psathyrella corrugis (Pers.) Konrad & Maubl. syn. P. gracilis (Pers.) Quél. (illustrated 50% life size) Cap 2–5cm across, campanulate; yellow-ochre to buff-brown, pinkish when dry; glabrous. Gills adnate, crowded, broad; pallid then pinkish-brown. Stem 60–120×2–3mm; white; pruinose at first. Flesh whitish. Spores 11–14×6.5–8¼, elliptical. Spore print purplish-brown. Pleurocystidia 54–75×10–16¼, with an acute apex. Habitat scattered on soil; late summer to autumn. Common. Unknown edibility, avoid.
