Flat Oysterling Crepidotus applanatus (Pers.) P. Kumm. (illustrated 40% life size) Cap 1–4cm across, shell- or kidney-shaped; creamy white, sometimes striate towards the margin. Stem short and rudimentary; white. Gills horizontal; white at first, becoming pale cinnamon. Spores 4.5–6¼ in diameter, globose, minutely spiny. Spore print walnut-brown. Habitat on decaying wood; autumn. Occasional. Not edible.
