Yellow Club Clavulinopsis helvola (Pers.) Corner syn. Clavaria helvola Pers. (illustrated 60% life size) Fruit body 3–7cm high, 1.5–4mm wide, simple; yellow to orange-yellow. Spores 4–7×3.5–6¼, subglobose to somewhat angular and bluntly spiny; white or faintly yellow. Habitat solitary or in small groups on the ground in woodland or in open situations amongst grass and moss; late summer to late autumn. Common. Not edible.
