Yew Club Clavicorona taxophila (Thom) Doty (illustrated 80% life size) Fruit body 8–20mm high, 4–9mm wide at flattened or concave apex, tapering towards stalked base; white, yellowing with age. Spores 3–4×2–3¼, broadly elliptical to subglobose; white. Gloeocystidia in hymenium as elongated, thin-walled, vermiform organs with oily contents. Habitat on damp twigs, leaves, and other debris of coniferous and deciduous trees; autumn. Rare, vulnerable on Red Data List. Not edible.
