Ramaria aurea (Fr.) Quél. syn. Clavaria aurea Fr. (illustrated 50% life size) Fruit body 8–20cm high, 5–12cm wide, densely branched with paler, cauliflower-like tips; egg-yellow or ochraceous, white at the base. Spores 8–15×3–6¼, oblong, minutely roughened; deep ochraceous. Habitat on the ground in mixed woods; autumn. Rare. Edible.
