Common Jellyspot Dacrymyces stillatus Nees. syn. Dacrymyces deliquescens sensu auct. (illustrated 50% life size) Fruit body 1–5mm across, more or less cushion-shaped, often merging into one another; orange-yellow, becoming darker, reddish, and wrinkled with age; gelatinous. Spores 12–15×5–6¼, sausage-shaped, becoming 3-septate; orange-yellow. Basidia resemble tuning-forks. Habitat on damp, decaying wood; all year. Common. Not edible.
