Conifer Disco Lachnellula subtilissima (Cooke) Dennis (illustrated twice life size) Fruit body 1–3mm across, globose, becoming cup-shaped; inner surface yellow-orange, outer white, covered in long, shaggy, septate hairs. Spores 6–11Γ—2–2.5ΒΌ, oblong-ellipsoid. Asci 156Γ—12ΒΌ. Habitat on pine twigs, less often on spruce; autumn. Occasional. Not edible.
