Conifer Disco Lachnellula subtilissima (Cooke) Dennis (illustrated twice life size) Fruit body 1–3mm across, globose, becoming cup-shaped; inner surface yellow-orange, outer white, covered in long, shaggy, septate hairs. Spores 6–11×2–2.5¼, oblong-ellipsoid. Asci 156×12¼. Habitat on pine twigs, less often on spruce; autumn. Occasional. Not edible.
