  • About

In French, producteur means “producer,” but it also indicates that the person in question is an independent grower, usually on a small family farm. If you see this written anywhere on a stand’s signage it is safe to assume that all, or most of, the products you will find there were grown by the person that is selling them to you. You may also see signs saying that the fruits and vegetables are de notre production, or grown by the vendor him or herself.
