Maraîcher

Similarly to producteur, maraîcher indicates that the fruits and vegetables (or at least a selection of them) are homegrown. Maraîcher can be translated as “market gardener,” or farmer. Usually these producers only grow vegetables on their farm and have no livestock or other food production on site.
