Long lines

  • About
A testament to the power of quality produce, it always makes me happy to see that a farmer’s stand invariably has the longest lines. Even without being overtly advertised as such, independent farmers find a loyal following at the city’s markets. Led by what seems to be an innate appreciation for homegrown, nourishing food, shoppers are willing to wait a little bit longer and have a little less choice in exchange for high quality fruits and vegetables.

Farmer Marc Mascetti at Marché Monge.
