Calcium is important for strong bones and teeth, and the proper functioning of enzymes. Good sources are spinach, milk and cheese. Phosphorus is essential for heart and kidney function and normal bone structure. Good sources are whole grains, seeds, nuts, eggs and soya. Magnesium is needed for cells, muscle and nerve function. Good sources are vegetables and grains.
